This rustic steel lettering that is cut from Corten steel (304 grade). This is known as "rusty steel," cor-ten steel or weathering steel and gives a strong "industrial look" to your letters/numbers/symbols. Our standard thickness is 1.5mm thickness steel (0.0598 inches or 16 gauge).
Each steel letter can be supplied with or without holes for fixing. If you prefer pre-drilled holes and/or sealer varnish, please choose the drop down options. Rusty steel finish (to one side) is supplied as standard.
Letters - there is a selection of fonts to choose from. PLEASE remember to specify whether the letters are uppercase or lowercase letters in the information box (write it out as you wish to receive these). If this is not specified, we will send out UPPERCASE letters.
Our letters start at 4" or 10cm and are sized upwards as shown. Minimum order is 5 letters / numbers.
Colour - these signs are designed to rust from an initial light rust colour that we start for you (as shown in the images on the listing). Once you have positioned your sign outside, the rust reaction will continue and the Corten sign will rust further. The colour and the patina will change and reach a rich dark umber colour (this takes 6 to 12 months depending on local weather conditions). This is the nature of this steel.

Exact letters required (i.e. "Hannah & Peter", or H&P) including hyphenation (if required). Please note that we can offer all letters of the alphabet and numbers and symbols. Popular ones include hearts, stars, & and @. All will be the height as selected and the width will be determined on the font / shape selected. Write down the letters required in the Information Box provided.
Please count up the number of letters / numbers / symbols and select the relevant quantity. Please then enter all of your required letters / numbers / symbols in the "Information Box," remembering to specify whether these are uppercase or lowercase letters.
